Projects from other CAD systems can be easily imported thanks to support for standard formats such as DXF, DWG, IGES, STEP, Rhino, STL, and others, ensuring a smooth workflow with optimal efficiency and compatibility.

2D and 3D CAM

The powerful integrated CAM engine offers a wide set of 2D and 3D milling strategies, including pocketing, contouring, engraving, and bas-relief finishing.

5 axis CAM

The 5-axis CAM module offers an extensive set of machining strategies for complex surfaces and shapes.
Ideal for continuous and interpolated 5-axis machining centers, it also includes advanced functionality for collision control and tool-axis orientation.

These advanced strategies are easy to use and can be applied to sculptures and architectural elements.

Disk CAM

Advanced disk-management functionality supporting 2D or 3D machining, from simple cuts to the most complex shapes, including interpolated 5-axis operations.
The software automatically manages disk orientation, ensuring maximum safety and flexibility throughout the machining process.

Advanced features

Pegasus CAD-CAM offers essential advanced features such as background image management for bench visualization, automatic recalculation of remaining material, and management of tool accessories (such as tool holders and covers).

Simulation

Integrated graphic simulation environment for immediate verification of machining results.
Material-removal simulation is available to check machining accuracy and reduce programming errors.
With the machine-simulation module, you can see your machine in action, viewing all axis movements and detecting potential collisions or limit exceedances in advance.
The Workbench module offers interactive graphic positioning of pieces, allowing management of suction cups and stoppers.

Full compatibility

The software ensures maximum integration by offering a complete and constantly updated Post Processor library, compatible with major CNC machine manufacturers.
When needed, customized Post Processors can be developed for any machining center.
